The acquisition will allow the Germans Boada group to introduce new lines of business which will be developed under the Kanguro brand in various economic sectors.
The Germans Boada group, which manufactures tools for fitting ceramics under their trademark RUBI®, has recently announced the acquisition of Kanguro, with a production plant in Alicante.
With the addition of this brand to its product portfolio, the Germans Boada group is strengthening its global leadership in the manufacture and sale of tools, appliances and machinery for the construction sector, with a high level of specialisation in the cutting and application of ceramics.
The purchase of Kanguro by the group and the creation of a new company, Boada Kanguro S.L, will strengthen the international presence of the rubber construction products manufactured by the company in Alicante. RUBI’s strong international presence, with subsidiaries and branches in Europe, America, Asia and Africa, will be used to roll out the range of rubber products in the main international markets.
Following the incorporation of Kanguro, the Germans Boada group has announced its intention to increase investment in innovation and internationalisation in the coming years both for the range of rubber products aimed at the construction sector and for the other lines of business of the Alicante firm.
In undertaking this acquisition, a particularly high value was placed on the positioning and reputation of the KANGURO brand as well as the complementary nature of its lines of business with the RUBI® product portfolio. The excellent commercial synergies envisaged and anticipated growth potential were key to finalising this acquisition.
The Germans Boada group is currently present in more than 120 countries; it has nine of its own subsidiaries, eight branches and two production plants. With a workforce of close to 300 people, exports of over 85% of its total sales and a consolidated turnover of around 55 million euros, the group, through its trademark RUBI®, is the international leader in tools for fitting ceramic products. Its solid growth in the last few years will undoubtedly be further strengthened in the near future by the incorporation of Kanguro and its various lines of business, which range from construction products to urban equipment, not forgetting its product ranges for agriculture and farming.
